Founded 40 years ago, Wichita’s oldest artist coop has doubled its exhibit space at 412 E. Douglas. The expanded galleries will allow for 10 to 12 rental spaces in addition to rotating exhibits by the 24 member artists, according to John Ellert, gallery president.
Gallery XII hosts opening receptions for new exhibitions during Final Friday each month. Upcoming exhibits include: paintings by Tom Montgomery with ceramics by Dan Gegen on display until Oct. 23, and photography by John Ellert with fiber and enamel by Susan DeWit from Oct. 26 to Nov. 27.
